Pathways - Mindful Movement,

Pilates & Meditation Retreat

Bressanone, North Italy 

Most of the time we walk on well-known paths, some beloved and some less so,

surprised that nothing changes and complaining. Many times, these are not even the paths we have chosen but paths that have led us so that we do not get lost, don't get hurt.

In this retreat we will get to know our habitual behavior and what triggers us through understanding the relationships between the body-fillings-mind. We will learn how to pay attention to body sensations as we practice guided meditations and mindful movement, learn about the way our brain works, the way the mind "thinks", and the connection between them.

Being able to recognize our automatic reactions is the first step to freedom. It opens up new possibilities that don’t exist for us as long as we are under the influence of our "automatic pilot". It can give us back the ability of choosing the way we respond and that’s were freedom lays.

Reconnecting to ourselves remind us our true nature, who we really are, giving us the opportunity to respond rather than react.

We will experience silent walking while focusing on the simplicity of the sights, sounds and smells, we will discover the power of a group to support and empower each other and we will connect to the here and now.

In between we will go for walks, enjoy the quiet and the landscapes, have some time for relaxation, feed our body with fresh, quality delicious food made of seasonal local products, enjoy the spa and recharge with good energies.

Our goal is to connect people and go through a meaningful experience together in beautiful and inspiring places, an experience that will last for a lifetime.

We promise you an unforgettable experience, at the end of which you will return happy and charged with good energies and tools for better life.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Iris Shaked, a certified Pilates teacher for the past 16 years, a Reiki master, mindfulness practitioner, owner of a Pilates studio. Iris leads body-mind retreats integrating in her teaching from the knowledge she has acquired over the years for flowing and beneficent movement together with mindfulness, and the way it influences on daily life both physically, emotionally and mentally.
